(Oct. 11, 2004) - Belz Factory Outlet World in Pigeon Forge will treat shoppers to an interactive, state-of-the-art video experience for the whole family during its 16th anniversary weekend celebration on Friday, Oct.15 and Saturday, Oct.16 from noon to 6 p.m. During the two-day event, shoppers who redeem same-day receipts totaling $100 or more can become the star of their own interactive Fun Flicks music video, complete with crazy costumes, wigs, hats and more than 85,000 special effects and music selections. Participants can bring their own music for a completely personalized experience. Festivities also will include radio remotes and other scheduled activities. A portable music video production studio, Fun Flicks allows participants to be the star in a music video, water ski like a professional, walk in space, participate in a western shoot-out, ride a motorcycle or star in a mini movie. The secret is a special green screen that allows users to be super imposed on a background scenario of their choosing. Participants also choose costuming, outrageous props and background music to complete their cinematographic themes. A Fun Flicks director provides cues, while participants take their positions and perform in front of the Fun Flick green screen.
