Lakeland, TN (November 12, 1999) -- Belz Factory Outlet World - Lakeland, in conjunction with the Memphis RiverKings and the Kings Court Booster Club, will hold a "Memphis RiverKings Player Auction" at Belz Factory Outlet World’s center court on Sunday, November 21st. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., shoppers can bid for a date with 18 of the cutest, most eligible Memphis RiverKings hockey players.

Bids start at $100 per date and include not only the company of the athlete, but also an exquisite evening on the town. Goaley Rob Friesen, 1998 Coach Kevin Evans, 1998 All-star Defenseman Dan Brown and player Derek Grant are just a few of the men who will participate in the fun-filled auction. Date events include golf games, helicopter rides, an evening at a local comedy club, boat tours, a trip to the zoo, and much more. Steve McCall, the announcer for Memphis RiverKings games, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

"Best of all, all proceeds raised in the auction benefit the Children’s Variety Charities of Memphis, a group which funds numerous local philanthropic efforts," says Andrew J. Groveman, President of the Factory Outlet Division of Belz Enterprises.

Adding to the fun, Radio station KIX 106 will be on hand from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to broadcast a live remote.
