FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SHELBY OAKS BUSINESS CENTER LEASES 32,000 SQUARE FEET OF SPACE TO FOUR COMPANIES Memphis, TN (December 1, 2003) - Since August, Shelby Oaks Business Center has leased nearly 32,000 square feet of space to four companies who have opened or expanded facilities in the Memphis area. High Tech Institute (HTI) opened a new, 19,650-square-foot campus; Schiller Hardware leased 7,675 square feet of space to house a wholesale distribution facility; Mid-South Music & Sound, part of South Central Communications Corp., has established a 2,600-square-foot office and warehouse facility; and National Building Systems, Inc. opened a 1,875-square-foot office. Phoenix-based High-Tech Institute provides postsecondary education in the fields of Allied Health Care and Technology. The Memphis campus offers Associate of Applied Science degrees in programs that include Medical Assisting, Massage Therapy, and Surgical Technology. According to Miller, HTI selected Shelby Oaks as the site for the Memphis campus because of its easy access to the freeway, pleasant surroundings, and ample parking. Schiller Hardware, Inc. supplies hardware, and hollow metal and wood doors to the commercial, industrial, and residential construction industry.
