Fast becoming a popular field trip destination for Memphis-area students, the Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art has developed an educational activity guide to help teachers prepare their students for the museum experience. The guide is filled with useful information about a variety of the art objects in the museum and important dates in Chinese history. The guide also includes background information on Chinese language, folklore and songs, as well as illustrations detailing the intricate process used to carve jade. In addition, the guide features instructions on projects and activities for students to do when they return to the classroom following their visit to the museum.
