In the early 1970s, my wife, Marilyn, and I wandered into an Oriental collector's gallery in Los Angeles. We found something far beyond the intriguing carved ball-in-ball we purchased that day. We discovered a whole new world of artistic beauty.

Since then, we have found rare Chinese art treasures around the globe. With every new acquisition, we gained a greater appreciation for the diversity, craftsmanship and symbolism represented by the art forms of the millennia-old Chinese culture.

In addition to the Chinese display items, there is a vast array of other art areas which interest us and which we believe add greatly to the experience of visiting the Peabody Place museum. Foremost among these is a very comprehensive and unique selection of Judaica, which will have appeal to people of all faiths because of the extraordinary beauty and content.
