Winners of the 2005 Link Up for Life organ donor awareness poster contest will be recognized and honored with prizes during the 5 th annual awards ceremony. WREG-TV news anchor Alex Coleman will emcee the event.
Participants submitted posters depicting their knowledge of organ and tissue donation, and finalists’ posters are displayed at Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center through the month of April (Friday, Apr. 1 through Saturday, Apr. 30).

BACKGROUND:
Link Up For Life is the Mid-South Transplant Foundation’s high school outreach program that promotes organ donation through a curriculum specifically geared to educate high school students. Mid-South Transplant Foundation Inc. is the federally designated organ procurement organization for the Mid-South, tasked with recovering organs for patients needing life-saving organ transplants, as well as educating and raising awareness concerning organ donation and transplantation.
